Yeah it aint no surprise. I do find it funny that kinkaid has been played against two of the top teams in the nhl while cory sat. kindkaid forced shootouts. Cory did not. I sense resentment on cory's part. if we are going to reach this dead last spot, we need cory to play more. |

That spear by Tavares on Zidlicky was bad. NHL doesn't seem to care about spears, ask Lucic. So I only expect Tavares to be fined. |

I know I will get torn apart for this suggestion I always do when it involves trying to shake up our awesome roster but The internet was buzzing yesterday that the Oilers have put Taylor Hall on the trade block. I have hardly seen this kid play but have always heard good things. Do we think its worth trading for him? As much as I don't like the idea of parting with one of our young D and a pick at the same time we are pretty desperate for a goal scorer, and like it or not the only place we are going to find one is through a trade as there are zero forwards worth claiming off Free Agency this year. Or we could tank and try and win the Draft which if we keep running with the players we got and our track record all we gotta do is keep playing are butts off and last place should come with ease by the end of the season. |

Gelly, Rico, and a future 1st for Hall? I mean this sounds like a great first line, Cam-Mcdavid/Eichel-Hall. Idk what EDM wants for Hall, if that is true |

I think Lou should definitely keep an eye on that situation, but I don't think we have what it would take. Edmonton is not looking for more developing players, they would probably want Greene or Henrique as the starting point. |

And I feel like a big plus of us getting Hall would be reuniting him with Henrique who he tore it up with in juniors so I would particularly not want to lose Henrique if we somehow got Hall. |

Yeah, our only surplus right now is our young D, any trade involving anything else will be filling one hole by creating another. |

I would still be okay trading a young d-man to get an equally good young forward but we have no-one that comes close to Hall's value. |

Well if the Devils want to go into a full rebuild (they will never do this) they could always trade Cory, Greene and a prospect/pick for Hall. Then tank for McDavid and start the rebuild around those players plus Rico, Boucher, JJ, Black, Zajac and our young defense and of course Kinkaid with Wedgewood hopefully showing signs of improvement. But more realistically the Devils will stand pat, no major moves and hope the team gets healthy enough to just miss the playoffs |

Edmonton wants to win now and their 3 greatest needs are top 2 defenseman, goalie and a #1 center. We can only give them 2 of the 3 since we don't even have a #1 center ourselves. |

Forget the pipe dream of taylor hall coming to the devils. lou has no intention of even picking up the phone and calling edmonton. Hall is not a lou player. first off he is young, second he scores goals, third he doesn't play defense. if or When lou makes a move with edmonton i can see a young defenseman going for boyd gordon, he is more of lou player and lou type move. |
